hey guys and gals, havent been here in a while, i have recently gotten my hands on a projector, i have a few videos i would like to mix in together. i would like to mix my videos for everyone to see, but dont know how to connect the laptop to the projector and have the image be that of just the videos and not the skin or vdj screen. how can i go about doing this.

once you have connected to the projector via vga or video from computer, turn on projector first, then your computer. Right click on desktop select properties then settings tab. Select screen number 2 and choose "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor". Choose OK
Open VDJ, config, video, select the external graphics, choose activate.
Enjoy
If it doesnt work maybe your projector is not in the right video mode some can cycle between vga/video/svideo inputs that you need to select.

i tried it, i right clicked and couldnt get a properties option.

try looking for your video card and use the wizard for set up... may help you,
