Topic: Duplicate mp3's

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

A topic that has been discussed before however I can't find anything through the search, anyway I have a particular question.

If you have two duplicate mp3's, one at 92kb and the other at 320kb which one would the program delete?

Anyone know of a program that gives you an option to choose to delete the one that's the the lower kb?

Hi,

I use this one that usually will automatically select the lower bit rate MP3 file to delete for you or it is in the settings, etc...

But it is always good to double check that it will do that for you before having it do its deleting process, just in case, etc...

DJ TAO :)

Thanks I'll look into this.

It even does FLACs the same way.

BUT, same songs at a different bitrate might mean a newer studio recording vs something from the 50s.

You can do this in vdj once they are played with the bitrate column activated.

Right click/file operations/delete
