Topic: can i control c.324 effects when i use VDJ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

hi all, i am thinking of buying Stanton C.324, but i read on Stanton forums where someone said that if they are using serato they cant control or use the Stanton C.324 effects, they have to use mixer with effects in order to have effects. is that true with VDJ also? thanks

The effects can only be processed on audio being played from a CD. This is true for any and all CD players that have built-in effect processors.

yah but i guess if i buy cdj 400 or icdx then i wont have to worry, since they are native controller for softwares, and dont need time coded cd. Right?

also i think denon dns 1200 is native controller for software.

Yes, native control to the software for controlling software features. But still just like the CDJ-400 has a built in effects processor - it only works on CDs or MP3s from an iPod -- not the audio played from VirtualDJ or any other DJ software.
