Hy guys,
i'm sure my questions are somewhere specified, but I hope for your help.
I want to make me a skin, based on the Internal Mixer + Internal Full Video Mixer.
But the Layout should look like my loving VCI-100
Maybe i'd like to change the look and feel.
I've seen a great artwork for inspiration from
Skin from djtouchdan
and
Skin from Listen2
Hehe, this is not a project, who will finished fast, because I'm very busy in my normal job and had also a family, lol.
When I open one of the BMP's from a existing Skin (sry), it looks crazy. ;-)
How can I bring in a BMP from my VCI100 without doing something wrong?
Is it possible to do all of this with the skin creator?

I use the skin creator tool because it's easy to use and cuts out a lot of the hard work for you!
The only thing the tool can't do for you is image editing. You can use any image software to do this but sizing is the key. I design all my skins images in a very very large scale about 2000pixels by 4000px. The main reason for this is it enables to you to resize the image for different resolutions - 1280x800, 1280x768, 1440x900 etc etc.
Feel free to download one of my skins and look at the XML and bmp in the skin creator to see how it all works.
