Topic: Video Mixing Setup on a Macbook Pro with VDJ...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi everyone!

In newbie terms, can someone tell me how to setup video mixing on my macbook pro? I have the latest MacBook Pro and i use VDJ with Hercules MK2 controller. How exactly, can i pipe the video out of my macbook? Is there a setting somewhere? Do i need a new controller?

:D

You will need an adapter - if your using a new late 2008 Macbook it will be a Mini DisplayPort to DVI or to VGA.

Once connected and you can see your desktop on your 2nd screen go into CONFIG ----> VIDEO
Under TV Output - in the drop down menu select you gaphics card - in this case Nvidia then click activate.

That should do you.
