Hello, I m a french user so i m sorry for my bad english...!
I have this message when i load a video on deck with vdj 5.2.1...any one had this problem bifore!...any solution!

Macbook pro, osx 10.5.6.

What type of file is it??
 
all file: m4v, vob, mpg, avi...
 
The only files i have issues with is playing iTunes downloaded videos.

I'd maybe uninstall VDJ and do a clean install if not i'd put a support ticket in on this one - something isnt right somewhere.
 
go to config, video and select a video output - either window or something. it sounds like in your last mix session you had a video device connected (projecter) and now its not there
