Topic: Found database file floating around

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I was reorganizing some tracks last night and saw this file floating around in my HD:

VirtualDj LocalDatabase v5.XML

I beleive I found it in my external HD, but I am not 100% on that.
While I was as work last night, alot of my BPM and location data was gone while trying to mix.


Can I reinsert this file? Or do I delete it and start over?

I think it would depend on whether you have made any changes which could conflict with the DB.

I would try inserting it in - it may flag an error when loading VDJ - if it does you can attempt the fix function in the Config--->Database
 
Ya, I just delete it and rescanned the drive. Thanks man
