can someone just tell me if it´s possible to config,deck´s volume levels coming from gain?

Quick quection musicalcheers, I want to get a midi interface for my DJM 700 and you mentioned you have a Edirol UM that works fine with it. I can't find this online anywhere, only the UM-1EX, do you know if there is anydifference between the two that should limit its use with the mixer?

Pretty sure mine is a UM-1 as well mate but the rig is all packed up in the van at the moment. I will have a look after work tonight though and let you know for sure.
 
I use a djm800 and I don't think you should have a prob with the edirol um-1ex but can't promise for sure. I use M-Audio midisport 2x2 and have never had a problem. I got a 2x2 in case I needed an extra midiport down the track. I've never needed it tho.
 
Can confirm mine is UM-1ex Sorry must have been a bit lazy writing the model numbers ;)

Works well with my pc. Instant midi comms and never had a problem either. Can also confirm the m audio stuff is good too - I use one of their other interfaces on my studio pc.

Gonna get one of the two sorted today, just need to see if the 2x2 cost that much more.
