Topic: Numark Total Control

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am a home user and occasional party DJ, I have a Numark Total Control that I love but fustrates the crap out of me all the time. Has anyone ever had a problem where connecting the Total Control to the PC / Laptop PC sees it and yet Virtual DJ Doesn't...??? It happens to me ALL THE TIME. And it is really upsetting the crap out of me.

your firmware isnt installed or is out of date. search youtube for Numark Total control firmware and follow his directions. after i installed mine i haven't had any issues with it.

Is anyone having a problem with distortion during playback?
When I'm trying to mix and move anything (crossfader, volume, EQ's etc..) the sound begins to distort and sounds really bad.
Anyone know whats wrong?

It should be on your performance setup.
Please set sound card latency to AUTO and un-check Safe Mode / Overclock.

What issue are you experiencing , the TC would not be affected by vibration.

If I'm correct you're using Time Coded Viny (TCV), poor quality of your time code signal makes your audio output a bit unusual. Please check if you have 100% signal all the time, thus without scratching or back spinning, just mare audio playing.

I had the same issue when I started it was latency issues for the sound card that fixed my problem. Take a look at some of the performance tips people have posted about Audio Latency ;)

If you mean VirtualDJ Radio, no. You would need a pro license for that.
