Hallo!

I’m playing around with the external audio input on Hercules mk2 DJC, but the volume is a bit low.
So I want to connect a small amplifier between the external audio source and the mixer, but how big should it be in terms of watts.
I’m thinking around 8 to 15 watt but is this to little or to much?
Is there any thing you can recommend?

Kind regards

I would recommend you to plug your DJC to cheap 2 channel mixer like
AMERICAN AUDIO MX - 1
or NUMARK DM 950
or STANTON M. 201 and so on...

And you will have another channel for backup (cd-player for example) and another mic input.
