I have a very important question that I've searched for without responses. Can having a midi controller like a rmx or xsession give good fast scratch cuts?I learnt yesterday that the crossfader is important to cut the sound into pieces. Can I use midi or do I have to go with a audio mixer?

yes...I have a Vestax VCI-100 MIDI CONTROLLER with a pro x fader in it .....works good
with the vci-100 you can set the crossfarder curve from a slow to a sharp...and with the pro X fader you can set the cut in time from 2 mm to 0.5 mm
