Topic: Need a little help with acapellas

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i am new with Virtual DJ and quite frankly i know nothing about it, but i need a soft ware that can for instance slit a song in two one part the lyrics and the other part the instruments or rhythm, was just wonder if this program can do it if someone would tell me how or another program that can do that... it would be greatly appreciated thanks much

Sorry, but there are no software on the planet that can do that ;)

What you mean is take a normal song and extract the vocals (an acapella), and the music (instrumental) seperately..

One can come close by using a part of the song in a loop (as an instrumental), and use a subtract algorihm, to "take that away" from the song.
And hence produce something close to an acapella.

But it would be far better to google for acapella sites, and most artists have instrumental versions of their songs.

real acapella involves real singers , really singing really good ......

i like a few different groups rockapella , straight no chaser , cactus cuties .....

the coolest bit i have is a bootleg of the Temptations in the studio doing MY Girl ..... you can actually hear a little bit the "bleed thru"from the headphones .....
 

hum... yeah...

But, an acapella is simply ANY song, without instrumental accompaniment... :)

It means the vocal part of the song, alone...
 
there are also alot of r&b and hiphop web site that has Acapella but you will find more instrumental versions
