yes you can use just on TCV. Please read this http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/76267/Hardware_Technical_Support/TCV_TCCD_Setup_Manual.html

That's how I've been doing it for about 2 years now. It allows you to be very precise in your cues and is better for scratching than any controller. There are obviously some limitations. I have been known to forget to switch control to the other deck before stopping the platter (this usually happens after a few whiskey on the rocks) which causes the track to stop and everybody's heads to turn.

thanks, so before i purchase everything (including proper vdj)
I have a question, to kinda test the TCCD (I know im gonna use tcv) i put the high quality timecode download onto my ipod, hooked it in through the line in on my computer, and i get ALOT of fuzzy noise and such with 0% timecode signal,
any ideas??
i noticed to, that when i clap the wave form jumps allover and such exactly when i clap. so how is it picking up what i do

in VDJ soundcard settings select ONE TCV and select correct output. then test the signal.
