Topic: copying cds

have post in mac also.copied a cd to my mac.went toput it on my windows laptop and format was m4a how is this.also can i make mac copy all music to mp3 format

Did you use iTunes to rip the music? If so, to change it to MP3 navigate to the following menu: Edit > Preferences, in the General tab click Import Settings. Change the import using option to the MP3 Encoder.
 
thanks andrew.yeh it was set to aa encoder.
 
Hi mate, u do not have to double post on different forum. Have all the mac tech issue preferably at the mac forum;)
