well my non league hometown side Blyth Spartans take on the Premiership side of Blackburn Rovers tonight and it's once again another televised match in their fantastic cup run, if you want to watch tune in to Setanta...

be nice if we can do another giant killer, been making a fortune the club with all the tv deals, and they all have fulltime jobs through the day.... come on you Spartans....

I only live two minutes from the ground but i'm watching it on tv, it's f n freezing out there, they've even had the gritters on the pitch... lol

We have additional "summer holidays" for ours stars!

At the time i travled around the wold, i always enjoy it, to go into a bar and see english soccer.
Don't missunderstund i love the Bundesliga, but it was always a special atmosphere.

And how is the result?

yeah the lads did well, just shows what a bunch of part timers can do against so called professionals though, the lads are on £50 a game and sam's numbty's are earning tens of thousands....
 
That's my position, too.
I always sayed in the lower league is more potential, like someone means!
It must be not always a star with a name, we often need a player with a heart who want's to play!
Not thinking about the dinner after the game!

cloughie and forest will always have a soft spot in my heart regards to the demise of football clubs, my own club "the toon" is heading that way with the current chairman and his wanker side kick wise running the place, we are in that dreaded spiral... i honestly think they are on a mission to destroy the toon.

would have loved to have seen the lads get through to the next round and then stuffed the mackems (sunderland)... lol
