Hey All...maybe someone can help me.
You know how Virtual DJ 5 has the new browser vs version 4? You know how every other line is white and black rather than just solid black???
Well I installed Numark CUE LE and copied the skin to the Virtual DJ 5 Pro skin folder (I like the Numark interface rather than the VDJ Turntable and use the FULL: Internal Mixer skin) and the browser with the CUE skin doesn't make the song browser in Virtual DJ 5 like it would be if I had just the standard skin. You know...one line white, one line black etc...?? It's just plain black like VDJ 4.
Does anyone know why this is and how I could get it that way?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

It's all in the way the Skin's xml has been coloured coded in the browser section off it.
You could extract the xml from the skin zip file and edit it. Or how about going to the skin section and just download a Cue based skin.
Here is a good Cue based skin (with the stripes) ;)

Thats great Tayla. Here is the section of code for ease of use...
browser>
size width="1215" height="390" />
pos x="45" y="398" />
text font="Verdana" size="13" color="#FFFFFF" selected="#000080" stripes="#181818" />
options font="Tahoma" size="13" color="#FFFFFF" over="#99DDFF" />
widgets font="Virtual DJ" size="10" color="#99DDFF" facecolor="transparent" lightcolor="#808080" shadowcolor="#606060" darkshadowcolor="transparent" highlightcolor="transparent" trackcolor1="transparent" trackcolor2="transparent" />
customicons x="524" y="1033" />
custombuttons x="654" y="1033" />
/browser>
I did it by removing the stripes="#181818" completely, but i suppose transparent will do the same thing.
also, i chanced the text font size smaller, so that i can see more tracks without keep having to scroll down so much.. lol
*** EDIT > i had to remove '<' from every line in the code above, cause the forum wouldnt show it ***

Thanks guys!
Yo Jimmy I really doe like that CUE remix skin! Good look!
Why can't I drag/move it though by grabbing the top bar of it?
I might be using this as I have a 17" widescreen laptop

You should be able to move this skin around by clicking on the VirtualDJ logo (top left) and moving the mouse (whilst clicked).

Pro Edition users can download skins in the download section - this will solve your problem.
You will need to upgrade to pro!!
