Sorry, the DMC-2 mapper is only available for Windows PC at the moment.
There is a Mac version of my Denon DN-HC4500 mapper currently being beta tested/debugged, but I do not own a Mac, so this is a slow process relying on others to do the testing.
A Mac compatible version of the DMC-2 mapper may be possible in the future once the HC4500 version has been successfully completed and released, providing I have sufficient time available to create one (The mapper overall needs updating to support various features of the latest versions of VitualDJ.)

Have you thought about running windows on your mac using bootcamp? Then you could use the mapper without having to wait or switch computers.

but would have to pay for windows which isnt really worth the cost if a mapper is on the way

i have a feeling that doing that is going to give me trouble than what its worth... i might as well just get the denon. i think ill just wait until the mapper comes out and update to pro..

The betas are made available to VIP users for testing. However, there is no DMC-2 mapper beta at this time.

Unfortunately you can't because the DMC-2 is not MIDI compatible. It uses USB HID for communication with VirtualDJ.

It involves a secret ceremony where you have to roll up both trouser legs and stand on your head and beatmix using your feet.
