Do you have any higher resolution picture?

To what size would you like the Skin to be made in?

Yes Jeremk, like that. I like what you have started above. Can you finish it for me please? or can you post the bmp pic in 1280 x 800 so i can try It with the new skin tool?

I will give the new skin tool a try. I have no idea yet how to work with this new tool. I saw a youtube clip the creator posted, but still look a bit difficult to me.

I am the creator of that tool :)

That's why I don't have any time to finish that skin. The Skin Creator is still in beta stage and I need to add alot of features.

Here is the skin:

It is in PNG format not BMP. It takes alot less space than BMP.

Jeremk, thank you for your work. I greatly appreciate your work, your time, and effort.

Can you give me in wrtitten words a quick run down on how to use your tool with the picture you just made for me?

I hope to make a donation by the end of the week!

Lastly, how do you convert from jnp to BMP?

Open the picture in Paint, or any other graphic software.
In the menu, click on "Save As..." then choose the filetype you want to save to.

For the Skin Creator,
Click on "Open Picture" at the top right to open the picture.
Then drag with the mouse on the picture to create a selection box.

Select what type of element you want to add to the code, and finally right-click the picture to "insert the element".

That is the limitation of the trial version.

You cannot save the files.

Can you put the close, maximize, minimize, and config button on the left instead of the right for the Mac version for me?

Can you also make the rhythm bigger and put it above the two decks in like the Denon DN HC4500 beta version?

Thank you!

less browser, more features.

this is not a skin by no means, but if anybody can continue working on this.

though i have a few other ideas on skins that dont resemble DJ gear, but would bring out the features of Virtual DJ for \'Non-Console\' users.

That' s really neat what you have done with the skin. I wish i had more knowledge and skills in creating skins. I hope either Jeremk or any other users with skills will create a nice pro skin for those excellent Denon DN-S1200 CD players that are so super for my DJ set!

the bitmap is for a 1280x800 monitor, like most widescreen laptops.

however i still use a 17in (standard) monitor that can do 1280x1080 (or something like that) so i would get more browser at the bottom.

i used 'paint.net' to make the edits to the bitmap, but thats where my knowlege ends.

Although i will be looking at the new skin designer tool as it will help with the XML part of skin building.

It's 1280x1024 :)

I recommend making skins in 1280x800 and then using "Browser Resize" options from the Skin Resizer Tool: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/4442/VDJ_Skin_Resizer_Tool.html

This option let's the user extend the browser to have a skin in 1280x1024.

Can any one make a mirror image of that picture and paste It at the bottom of this picture so I can put the activation color to make the skin live?
