I formated reinstalled everything, but for some reason now, the waveform of VDJ doe not run smoothly. It's like running at 15fps instead of 30? :)

Yes i've installed latest drivers for my graphics card
Yes i have directX 9.0c
Yes i've checked BIOS settings for AGP
Yes i have checked display settings, everything's set too maximum

Any other idea?

done.

just wondering, how does the waveform run to you? 100% smoothly?

Or does it move "roboticaly"? :)

Nope.

It's not right.

It also hangs from time from time to time.

Strange thing is, everything else (VU metters, the vinyl animation etc) is running perfectly.

I have the same problem with my Athlon 1.2ghz, 1gig ram system. I chalk it up as the machine being worked too hard. Not sure about your system, but with mine the cpu usage is often at or near 100% even after the tracks are loaded into memory.

When using a more powerful computer, I did not see these waveform stutters.

Yes indeed, my CPU is at 100% when loading.

Strange thing you, i did not have those problems before the format ?!?!?

Perhaps i had better optimization to my PC, this could be it

Don't check the cpu when loading a track, I believe that will max out on every machine with the faster chips simply finishing first.

Check your cpu with 2, fully loaded, tracks playing together. It is odd that this happened just after a format. Are you using different drivers than you did before? Maybe it isn't a cpu usage issue at all. If you figure something out, please pass the information on. I haven't really investigated as I assumed the cpu was the problem.
