How do most of you organize your mp3's? Do you do it by genre, year, or just throw them in one folder :D.
Just curious to see how everyone else organizes.

I like having them all in one folder so when I do a search I can do it in one place instead of thumbing through folders looking for where it is.

Pete,

The way I've done it, is quite simple really. I've made folders and arranged them like this

House,
Electro,
Trance,
D'n'B
Comm Dance
Pop,
HipHop/R'n'B
00's
90's
80's
70's
60's
50's
Misc,

Once I've downloaded or converted files I then just place them in there respective folders. As I said quite simple really :)

I havent been around in a while, i forgot how distracting the bouncing titties were lol.

LMAO!!!!!!

Anybody know is there a way to make one folder with subfolders for different genres, artists, etc, but have all the files from each subfolder show up in one search?

Have you tried checking the "filepath" option in the search option's.

i throw them all including vids into the same pot, then the browser looks like this...

artist > title > month(album) > genre >bpm > length > year
