Topic: Spinning decks graphic

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

If i use a skin without the spinning decks, will this have less demand on the graphics, as I only have on-board graphics on the PC i use and sometimes this crashes after a few hours of play.
Any help will be appreciated.

Anyone....?

I have an IRQ conflict with the onboard graphics and the soundcard (I cannot change this), therefore will using a skin without the 'spinning' decks graphic help me out?

open up the xml and find the section under desk 1 & desk 2 that corrispond to scratch and visual ellements like

visual chan="1" type="custom" source="rotation"
size width="191" height="191"
pos x="91" y="318"
down x="91" y="1354" nb="37" nbx="6"
clipmask x="91" y="1158"
visual

scratch chan="1"
size width="191" height="191"
pos x="91" y="318"
center x="185" y="414"
mousemask x="91" y="1158"
scratch

delete the visual part for both desks and save. youll still be able to scratch but sont have the spinning desk effect any more....
 
By deleting this will it in anyway affect the music i.e crashing etc
