no major problems here, had 3 minor hicupps all night last night, thats it...

DJ Staffy, are you running the RMX in WMD mode or Asio mode?

You could try this to get rid of your pops and crackles.

Config>Performance tab, set Preset slider all the way to Fastest, then set latency to Auto (from the drop down) Safe mode and Overclock, unchecked.

Give that a go mate.

i will do that jimmy thanks.never change the settings on rmx so which is the best wdm or asio.feel so confident with vdj now that i think it was never the software was my bad sectors on my laptop.having so much fun at the mo doing my gigs

If you just use the RMX with no timecodes I would stick with WMD.

I thought asio was for vinyl timecodes only

No mate

You can use the RMX without TC in Asio mode, some say this mode is better than WDM, but I've found WDM works better for me.

I run one lappy with my RMX in WDM, and one laptop with my RMX in asio...I have noticed no difference in performance.....

i run my NUmark DJ IO on asio..its aaaiigghttt..now wut i mean ese..hehehe....

It's all down to your preference really.

But with the RMX, it's good that you can use one or the other.
