Hello

Just for info

Has anybody using a laptop and an external usb drive ever have a problem wit the external hardrive losing communication with the laptop during a gig ?

nope, but some guys have had problems with old usb leads, have you checked yours
 
My dive broke down on me once in the middle of a gig, wasn't pretty.

What did you do?
 
if i get a problem i just hit the cd players...
 
I would personally store a few songs on the lappy hd and if you get disconnected you can always play those songs while you are trying to get the drive reconnected:)
 
still thinking of a laptop that will work for me without any freeze.. issues etc.. mixing videos???? anyone .??? recommendations??
 
and does the database remember everything?
