Topic: timecoded vinyl mixing with normal vinyl ?

timecoded vinyl with normal vinyl is this possible ? i have 2 tt's,hercules rmx,mixer etc could i set it up to play normal vinyl and timecoded at the same time ?

I'm not sure with Hercules but it's possible if your sound card has a bypass like my own the VV box. Pass RCA will go direct to your mixer.
 

Yes, its possible.


VDJ has an internal bypass function for each deck.


you can bypass the "normal vinyl" through the vdj software. that means the "vinyl" signal comes trough the same channel output as the vdj signal.


no y-cabels or additional bypass outputs on the soundkard are needed. this is not the best way but possible.


i dont know the shortcut at the moment, just look at the shortcut list in the options menu.
 

That's what the Source buttons are for on the RMX. So that way you can toggle between the PC and INPUTs for each channels source. I haven't set it up in a while but I believe if the Source button is lit then it is the PC as the source for that channel. IF it is OFF then what ever is playing into that channels input is then heard.
