A good friend of mine bought this:
ACER ASPIRE X3200 SLIMLINE QUAD CORE
Vista home
AMD Phenom Quad-Core X4 9550
Memory 4GB ( 2x2048 ) ,
Harddisk 640 GB
Double layer DVD Rewriter
NVIDIA® GeForce 9400GE 256MB dedicated
VGA, HDMI and 100/1000 LAN
When he is playing a vid and loading the other deck, then the screen ( beamer on a wall) freezes for a second.
WHEN HE UNMARK THE HARDWARE ACCELERATION IN THE VIDEO CONFIG TAB, IT DOENS´T FREEZ AT ALL !!!
But then he can´t play 3 D grapics.
Why doesn´t it work with this new pc with enough memory and more ?
I can´t explain it to him. He bought a pc because he knew that I had a lot of problems with the laptop and the freezing issue.
I did for him the tweaking things that is discribed in the guides on the forum.
He thought that this must work for sure.
Who can explain it or what to do now ?
