As a kid I listened to and DJ'd funk and soul grooves then was inspired by the new house sound coming from Chicago in the mid 80's. From there I progressed to the underground London soulful house scene and thats been pretty much my taste ever since. My record collection extends some 15,000 pieces of vinyl and thousands of CDs and MP3s. Im first to admit that embracing MP3 mixing isnt something I relish, but something I am looking at now at the ripe old age of 40! :) . CDs were a hard enough jump for me as a purist, but I did that without too much pain. Next stop MP3s! <gulp>
