i wonder how many other users are like me. I first was introduced to virtual DJ by a friend who had the cracked program. After a couple months to the program you get addicted and then finally get the real thing to unleash the full beast.
For some reason there is a stigma when downloading a demo thats its always limited.
But thanks for the crack heads that gave me acess to virtual dj cracked version and then inspired me to get the real thing. You have ruined my life by having spend days upon days with virtual dj and then getting me gigs to play with this awesome technology as I rip it using VDJ. Even though VDJ can be a butt getting it too configure properly, I still wouldn't want anything else.
I wonder how many others have the same conversion process :)

I was at first looking for a producing program that was easy to use and somehow ended up with a cracked copy of vdj. Got rid of it, 2 years later when i decided to become a dj, I remembered it and went out and got it.

i searched for a jukebox program to play music at house parties some years ago, and ended up with an cracked version of virtual dj 3,something..
when the version 4 came, I bought the software, and i'm still so glad i found this program so i could try it. back then i never would have downloaded a demo from the old crappy site. the first impression has so much to say..

Ummm, hi my name is Thomas and about 4 years ago I had a crack version. I played around with in the bedroom, behind closed doors of course. At the time I had no real idea of power it held. Played around with the video aspect but as I got better with it I took into the public. I had it matched up with Traktor but realized how limited my game was with it. I looked into the field of controllers. Being how addicted the forum was becoming. I picked out a handy little do-hickie call MK2 and like life was reformed.
I used the LE copy for a couple of months then decided to go fulltime video. Well, for me to do that I had to get a new computer and a full version. I still have the original crack bottle, I mean copy on the original computer. Or course it's nothing compared to the full... Now I play with MK2, CDJ 1000, and tts.
Ok, Ok... some info are partially true or mostly accurate. Some names and places have been changed to protect the innocent.

I downloaded the crack version also. I was looking for dj software cause I had a gig I wanted. No leads nothing. I just was tired of the music they were playing. So I told them they needed to hire me. I had stopped djing and sold my techiques. So I went to the local DJ store and saw that virtual DJ came with the total control. Actually I saw the herc. but it was windows only. Got the total control. started djing monday nights at the club and then took my pay check which the owners too awhile to get to me. ( mainly cause i was never hired i just set up. told the bartender i was his new dj and started playing) I actually wasn't going to get paid so I stopped for two weeks and the club's basement emptied. The bartender played music and got boo'd. He told the owner he would pay me out of his pocket if he had to. the owner called me, gave me a check. and I then got a new laptop and VDJ. I now have 3 clubs I rotate thru and I blame VDJ for bringing me back into a life I had back in the late 1990's. Yes and I still breakdance on occasion to show these young kids I was doing what they call new 15 years ago
