Topic: Creating a website for clients to make their own playlists.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I DJ alot of weddings and I just thought it would be alot easier if my clients could put together their own playlists online from a database of my music. Does anyone know of DJ's that have websites like this already? What software would I need to use? I guess it would be similar to an online shopping cart?

I do a lot of weddings too Grug..and I thought about this....in my humble opinion it takes the fun of reading the room out of it. If you allow the couple to choose every song..why even hire a DJ? It would be easier to rent a sound system and program your own event (which is gaining popularity BTW)...I would shy away from it..but that is just my feelings....

I do alot of weddings as well. What you looking for is available at a website called www.Dj Intelligence.com Not only do you have a music database that will allow your client to create a playlist, but it has many other tools that is usefull for the mobile dj owner. Tools such as wedding planners, timeline planners, music database, payment gateway. do not playlist and many more useful tools.
The cost for this is $99.00 a year.
check them out and you like what you see.

Thinking off the top of my head, you can generate an html list of all your music with winamp, then you can just add check boxes beside them and use the mailto command to email that list to your email straight from your website...
If you are interested pm me and we can try it out...
