Topic: Problem with the Random Clipbank plugin (live at gig, lol)

I'm on the sound and lighting guys PC at my gig writing this.

I can't get the Random Clipbank plugin to run right, it will do 2 or 3 clips then freeze. Been messing with it for about 1/2 hour now, but no luck. Got everything update for these plugins to run BTW.

Starting to get busy now, so I'm going to sack it off tonight and test in again in the morning at home, Poo.

No idea what's causing that, I've been using this plugin for as long as I can remember!

Does it still freeze if you allow duplicate video clips in the config?

jim if you are still working and if you can do a quick switch to cd's make your your sound card to 4:1, still with the rest of the rmx settings

Cheers for that paul, but I'm home now mate. I couldn't do that anyway mate, I was on my vinyls tonight, maybe that's why, something to do with timecodes?

All the other times I've used this plugin is with my RMX.

scott, it has to do with the rmx, as long as it's in the 4:1 settings it is ok, has nothing to do with the plug in...

had the problem when i was using the beta version (actually still using it) found the problem was in the sound card settings so as long as the user is using the 4:1 settings in sound card, random clip bank will work without giving out a stutter effect. hope that helps.

Been playing around with it this afternoon at home, it certainly does not like timecodes, well not mine anyway, lol

With my RMX it seems fine.

Strange is that.

Very odd, fired up my timecodes - admittedly not with the RMX, but with my ASIO Ecler Evo 5, and had no problem.

I can't see how the choice of soundcard would affect my plugin... most odd.
