is the DJC a midi controller?

the reason i ask is i see people are having problems getting the DM2 midi controller to effect scratch and crossfader functionality.. and if the djc does use midi, i was thinking maybe the dm2 midi controll program could be set to control the same midi channels as the hercules for crossfader and scratching..

just an idea

The DJ Console communicates using the USB HID (Human Interface Device) driver. This is the same driver used by keyboard devices. This is why the DJ Console will actually still work even if you don't install the drivers. Most of the buttons are actually sending out keypresses.
