Hi there I am looking to upgrade my soundcard to an external usb one.
My current system is:
2x technics 1210's
Timecoded vinyl
Hercules mk2 midimixer
Dell Inspiron 510m laptop (about four years old)
Virtual DJ pro software
Amp and speakers
Is it possible to still use my herc as a controller but bypass the soundcard inside it?
Also a friend recommended this external soundcard. Anyone else used one?

Yes you can....
Go into configuration--->Sound Setup--->Select single output and select primary sound card.
