Setup.

A pair of technincs mk5 for 5500 kr or 725 $ (thats cheap coz they are brand new)
A pair of tcvs
A barebone comp which is on its way to my house :)
A maya 44 soundcard or another soundcard like it
A Amarican dj q-fx 19 Or another mixer
Later on i maybe buy a dac 2 to so i get rid of the mouse and keyboard
all this (ex the cpu) in a vinyl case whit a rack mount.
And of course this wonderfull program called virtual dj :) finaly

A setup like this ... It sais itself.
Ít´s gonna be awsome.
and finaly im gonna get rid of my laptop and my djc and focus on makin great mixes instead of beggin befora a action on everything i do whit my laptop and the djc.

Í just have some questions...
Does anybody here tested or owns a q-fx 19 mixer and did u like it / hate it.
If u use more than one controler to vdj does it crashes more often than if u would only use the tcvs.
And i also wonder i u could use the tcvs whithout a mixer (i just wanna be shure but i gues i can)

Thanks i advance...

I really wanna get rid of keyboard and mouse too.

But, is you gonna search, how do you type the search string?

If you have a computer issue, how do you handle it without mouse? :)

Keyboard is important and useful, so many functions are not covered by any controller.
And for searching of course.
But the mouse is something that i hate even to see... in my dj booth
(so it is hidden somewhere...)

Yes the keyboard is quite important lets say the mouse. (i use my keyboard more than i use my djc)
But i think i´m gonna buy two numpads instead of a keyboard one for each deck and from them u could like do anythin u whant.

I have a very important question and it needs to be answered now coz otherwise i cant buy the mk5´s

COULD I USE MY TURNS WITH THE TCV`S WITHOUT A EXTERNAL MIXER Thanx for ur help...

Hannep, how you can use 2 numpads, one for each deck ?
I had this idea months ago. But, you know the 2 numpads will connected
in a "parallel" way with exact the same functions.
You can't separate them. Pressing a key from the one is like pressing the same key from the other ?
The same if you connect 2 keyboards.

Am i missing something ?

:( But u could use the numpad on a normar keyboard + a seperate numpad but are u shure that u could use 2 numpads from different brand and different models...
