Sorry, no, all of your music must be analyzed in order for VDJ to be able to read the BPMs, keys and times properly. You have a choice of either doing it in bulk. Analyzing folders, or loading songs. But no one time saving step to analyze your music files....

i totaly hear what your saying, when i get new music that needs to be analyzed, i start it before i go to bed. or since i work during the day i sometimes start it before i go to work. it sucks but let me tell you its worth the wait, it makes things so much better!! just a few ideas.

I notice you mentioned "highlighting them all" You can right click on the folders in the left-most pane of the browser, and chose "Scan for BPMs" This will scan the entire folder without having to highlight everything within.

Hope this may speed up the selection of songs phase.

Steve.

You're lucky, just 4 hours??? mine takes more than 2 days

I agree its worth the wait my old school p4 3.8Gh took over 5 hours to get BPM's for about 2000 mp3s i wish there was a program to get the database faster and just rename and place it in you music folder.... ideas lol
