Hello.

I saw in a post in this forum from APOPSIS where you can alter VDJ in regedit to alter the colonms around so author is the first colunm and title second. I have wanted to do this for ages but thought it couldnt be done.

Anyway my question is. Are there any other regedit tricks that can be done to alter things round a bit wihout spoiling the program ??

Cheers.

Apopsis posted this in another post i thing... maybe he can do it again

there is also the possibility to use id-tags , if you download the id-tag parser (effect downloads)

from Dam's blog:

Author Column first and then Title Column
1) open regedit
2) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\VirtualDJ
3) edit the ColumnOrder key and put 1 instead of 0
4) launch Virtual DJ
The author and title columns will be inverted.

I started a txt file with many tips & tricks (for power users) some weeks ago.
Included some tips for auto-backup the database, registry tips etc.
Just didn't find the time to finish it, and to be honest i forgot it.
Give me some time i will post in the general forum.

Thanks apopsis.
I dont know regedit that well but can follow instructions.
It would be interesting to see exactly what sort of things you could change to suit yourself.
Hope the team wouldnt mind us tweakin little bits here and there ?????

Anyway cheers.
