Hello everybody, I`m a newcomer to this great Family,(VDJ version 2.06),
and I hope somebody could help me,using properly the earphones and Mic.
I have a Xear 3 D audio card - ( C Media 3D Audio ver.1.0.41.12), and the problem is, that after selecting the headphone(left or right), and controlling, the headphone or preview volume,
i only got a deep and low signal, and using both desks at the same time, it`s almost impossible to preview, the non active desk.
Thanks, and Greeting Seasons, for everybody.

Seems that I solved the problem within the headphones, by controling in my sound card to the
conection OUTPUT - HEADPHONES or 2.1, because the s.card was conected to 6(5.1) position,
using the SPIDF output of my notebook.
But now the problem is that i can hear the headphones and the Mic, in stand by, but after
recording, the mix (song and mic), I could only hear the song not the Mic voice, I`m really
wooried, because I want to REC some mixes with Mic intro, and I can`t reach this situation,
SOMEBODY COULD HELP ME, URGENTLY ?????
Thanks,in advance and Regards,
RB2005

- What is your VDJ sound config ?

Hi Clax,
Thanks, for your coop.
I`m using the 4.1 conf, could be here the problem ???? (third conf.),because with the two first ones,
there is no answer to the headphones. With this conf. I could have phone sound from the pre-selected
desk, and also, from mic., but the problem still goes on, with the final recorded mix, no mic
recorded sound.
Let me know, if in advanced config., I cold get some results ????

As I told before, my sound card is a Xear 3D Audio Card,( C-Media wave device).
Audio controller SIS 7012, Direct X version: 9.06
I have SPIDF, so I could connect, FRONT - CENTER -SURROUND and S.WOOFER), directly.
Also checking the Smart Wizard, of my sound card, i could confirm the phones and mic signals.
Please, let me have your impressions.

regards,

RB2005

Sorry but I'm thinking about your problem and I haven't found the solution yet.
I use an external mix and record using the line in with rip vinyl.

- Does your headphone and mic work correctly with Windows ?
- Do you hear your (mic) voice while using VDJ ?
- I always use the advanced config; did you try it ?

Maybe someone here own this soundcard and could give a hand ?

Hi Clax,
1-I hear perfectly, the headphones and the mic with windows.
2-I hear also, the headphones and mic during the mix, also controlling the
preview of desks A and B, and the mic level inside VDJ.
The problem is that after recording, everything is on, except the voice.
I`ll try to use the advanced features, but in your oppinion, don`t you think
that the advanced features, are only for users with several sound cards, and
external devices??????
I wiil check it, and report to you the result.
Thanks a lot.
Menwhile, I send you the coordinates, of sound card:

Xear3D CRL3D DS3D EAX2.0 A3D1.0
Audio Codec CMI9761A
Audio Controller SIS 7012
DirectX 9.0b

congrats as a new user....

BUT, you can NOT record mic inside Virtual DJ, sorry! Maybe you could as for this as a new feature, it might be needed by others too... (ask in "new feature" forum part)

A solution as of now, is to use a 3rd party software that will record the "master out" of your soundcard, and hence record both the music and your mic. There are many such softwares.

Another solution would be to connect your master out to a mini-disc, iPod or other external unit, and record digitally the master out. You could transfer this back to pc if you need to.

hope that helps

Thanks dj-in-norway I didn't know it wasn't possible.
Of course it's important to add this feature.

Maybe in the future a possibility to add some effects to the micro only ...
