So if you have a round button - you need to make an set of pictures to animate them when you twist the knob 360 degree.

But if you want to make an animation for a huge round knob (eg scratchpanel) you see that the picture becomes very big. It even more becomes a problem if the knob has a certain repeated texture on top. Say bumps or holes. Which are nicely repeated say each 10 degrees.
To make a proper animation of above example you need to make 360 frames. Hence - if you merely have the same picture. Is it possible to make something like:

nbf - where nbf means frequency the animation is repeated.

For above example i'd take nbf 36 - and create a animation of 5 frames , each frame 2 degree rotated - which loops in a 360 degree-turn, 36 times the 5 frame animation.
