Topic: cant cue songs in headphone anymore.

Hey guys,
I used to be able to cue the songs in my headphones but im thinking i messed it up.
I have a augigy soundlaster professional w/ ASIO support. and i went into configuration and changed it.. my problem is that when i click on the active desk, the music changes and plays that song out in the main speaker.. instead of my headphones.. im pretty sure i have it in the right output jack.. but for some reason no other output gives me any music... only that one.. did i change something by mistake.. anyone w/ help would be greatly appreciated..

That means your card dosen't support VDJ asio (which seems to be differnt than any other asio i've seen), change it back to wdm, or buy a maya 44 usb.

no, i had this working perfectly for 2 years... i have the soundblaster audio platinum ex..
it worked perfectly for 2 years...
im going to trouble shoot toinght.. see what happens.
any other suggestions.

Take it out of asio mode and it will be fine.

are you saying go into the property setting for my creative labs sound blaster, or to go into the configuration of the actual virtual dj settings?

ok step by step

1. First ditch the creative drivers all together (remove driver from system)

2. seach google for kx project drives

3 Install kx project drives

4. re-boot

5. open vdj sound config

6. choose 4.1 option

7. close vdj config

8. enjoy
