Topic: Auto pitch reset doesn't seem to be working with version 2.06...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

After updating to 2.06, the auto pitch reset option (enabled by default) is not working.

Example:

Try loading a track that has a BPM of 95. Play it for a bit at 95, then stop it and load a song which has a BPM of 85. You will notice that the pitch slider did not reset at all and is still at 95 for the second song (it should have reset to 85).

Please tell me I'm not the only one having this issue. Can someone confirm?

To get it back the old way I disabled the auto bpm in the fame settings menu. I don't get the smart or enabled on that either.

Ah! That's excatly how it should work, the pitch should not move on track load at all untill the dj moves it. Those of us with controllers are very greatful to the team for that.

I love that
if pitch is set up +2%
and we load a track with controller, it should remain at +2% not reset to zero
otherwise we have to move the slider UP and back down wearing out the sliders
U need to have a controller to understand

AAAhhhh now I see. Thanks wireless. For some reason I thought that there was something wrong with it, but it probably defaulted to that setting becuse the program detected my DAC2. No wonder. Works much better this way with the controller.
