Hi i have esi maya 44 usb.....4 outputs / 4 inputs and
it has headphones& optical output.

I want to cue/hear a song in my headphones before i paly it...If i connect the headphones in headphones output i hear the main output all the time..!

In Virtual Dj i put Channel 1&2 Master and 3&4 headphones.....i use a 2 rca--> in 1 jack and then an adapter and i put the headphones.....but not much volume in the headphones...

How is your setup.....am i doing something wrong?

Also i cant find the maya 44 control panel software..?

thats what I do...you are doing it right.

I use 1&2 master, 3&4 phones with a converter cable.

The headphones are plugged in to the 1/8 in->2 female rca->2 male rca->2 male rca->maya44usb

make sure that the volume in the control panel of the maya 44 is up, the sound is up, and vdj master is up, and you should be good to go.

the option to pre-listen using headphones are locked in the trial version. You will have to purchase the software in order to enable this option.

I would like to see a diagram too please. Otherwise I'm happy using an Audio Advantage Micro for one output and headphones through my laptop's internal sound card.

I never knew this?? When I tried VDJ though it was 3.1!!!...lol :)

Anyways to answer your question

in the sound tab your set up should be ths:

Input > NONE

Output > headphones / the speaker

Soundcard > Maya 44 there will be a pic also

click apply and then try it!!

Here is a little advice?

1) Get the pro version if you want to do things the right way

2) the Maya was made to work as a external sound card so it will be better if you have a mixer!!

Hope this helps....good luck
