Virtual DJ Radio dedicates every Tuesday night (North American) to Latin Music, After Trance. Some of it remixed some not...I would recommend visiting the Radio Shoutbox on Tuesday and spend a couple of hours talking to the DJs who use VDJ Live and see what their opinions are . Why not go straight to the end users and see for yourself?

I also mix several types of latin... Some of my regulars in one of my clubs always wants me to play Merengue, cumbia. So depending on the night, I may have a lot of South americans or I may have Mexican / central american...

The problem is when they clash... Oh boy!

I do a lot of Latin weddings... My promo only subscription is tropical latin

I could be wrong, which I never am, but it sounds like he is asking if the software is good for Latin music. The answer is yes.

Definitely, I stay playing salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, vallenatos, reggaeton and everything else perfectly blended.

Si Yes Oui

good but i try the sampel program and the bpM are no good so beetmatch is no good to. you must do everithing with the ear. and the dj on the radio alway have dance songs (remix) i never listen to original cumbia or merengue always remix. one dj play jus that here when use this program?

Amigo, VDJ is exelent, the BPM analyser is not 100% accurate with Salsa, Cumbias, Vallenatos, etc. But you can do it manually, tap tap tap...
I dont know if anyone would want to sit there and manually tap 2, 3, 4, thousand songs.
And SI the djs usually play remixes, but YOU CAN TOO, AND ITS VERY VERY EASY!!!! and hopefully sooner that later i will be on the radio playing stricktly latin with no dance remixes......im not knocking anyone......

Sorry Terry, nudge nudge..........lol

sorry with latin music you have to be a real dj that beat macth the song by ears the automix doesn't work real good with latin music do to the fact there are too many intruments being played to go by for the bpm thats why it not always on the money. so in other word you need to learn how to dj for real. with time you will learn that a merengue with a slower bpm is the same beat as on with a faster bpm. well to answer your q yes vdj is verry good with latin music as long you know how to beat macth the song by ears and not always depend on the bpm reading.

as long as you don't play " she's having my baby ", all will be well , and we won't have to revoke yer dj card ........

we have cards???

i use VDJ just fine when we play cumbias/salsa/reggeton. its not always about the beatmatch or the wave form.
