Topic: TC Vinyl & TTX1's

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a set up @ home of two ttx1 turntables, which don't have grounding leads.. So my problem is this, how can i get the TC signal to be more than 0%, when i can't ground to my laptop?

two factors that have got me stuck..

can't ground with no wire, but where can i ground it to a laptop if i were to use this with different decks?

TIA, Steve

the ttx's are self grounded i believe and shouldn't need the ground connector... as for grounding to a laptop just buy a ground loop enliminator and this should solve any ground looping problems.

also with the ttx1's use the line output rather than the phono this way it will reduce any looping problems you may encounter
