With vdj, its herc mk2.. plus the djc edition free..

Yes, my vote for MK2 or Numark Total Control ;)

thanks for the advice.......i am thinking for the Numark Total Control...it is the
same money with the mk2 and bcd3000 and it looks more profesional....
but total control dont have soundcard...i dont know if this is bad...
if the midi controller has soundcard is better? better sound or faster and good mixing?
Works better with the software dj programs?
Do you now anything about this.....?

No, it is not better or faster if it has built in sound card. You can use any sound card with Numark Total Control. Some of them are:
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 USB
Numark DJ//IO
Maya 44 USB
ESI U46DJmk2
Hope this help ya ;)

so DJ-ALF you suggest me to buy numark total control and not the other mk2 and bcd3000?
have you played with total control did you see
anyone to use it..?

this numark dj i/o is external soundcard..?

my onboard soundcard will do the job with the
numark total control..?

you put the headphones in total control or you must have
a soundcard to put the headphones and listen....?

Yes, I suggest Total Control, I plan to replace my MK2 in near future and take Numark also.
If you want all in one, take MK2, BCD is crap.
Yes, Numark DJ//Io is external sound card.
Your onboard card can do the job if it is 5.1 (so you can have prelisten option). But for Pro use I suggest one of the cards mentioned above.
You will connect your headphones on sound card itself as Total Control does not have any inputs/outputs, it is just a controller.
And don't forget you will need VDJ Pro also ;)
Hope to see ya with us soon ;)

Ok, so I am a curious kid and wanna know why the Behringer BCD2000/3000 is crap? I am not arguing, just asking experienced users who know more about this than I do so please, I would like some input. The numark TC looks like a good unit as well as the MK2, I like that the numark will virtually work with my setup as it is (more less ) aside from some minor config I am sure. From what I have been reading here, the numark TC will plug right in and work with VDJ. No real choice has been made. The only thing I do know is I enjoy working with VDJ. and depending on the EQ, I may have to purchase a full version of course of VDJ. I am simply being logical before the purchase of some equipment, no offense is meant or given to any manufacture of these mixes =)

Because drivers are written bad and it have some conflicts on some chipsets (2000 version), 3000 is yet to see is that corrected. Controller itself is not bad at all, it look and feels nice but sound card part is buggy. If you wanna use it, I suggest some other sound card to avoid problems.

Go for MK2, I got BCD3000 also i can't use.:-(

I will more than likely be running my sound card through my computer, not the external mixer. I simply want to get off the virtual controls. It can be a PITA is a mouse and keyboard. I have been considering the Total Control or BCD3000 but again, I am simply being logical about this. Functionality..... but if it doesn't work with VDJ unless I have to hack the hell out of the files/configs, then it almost seems redundant to go with the BCD3k. But the price is a little less than the NTC and I can get the BCD3k shipped to my door for $204.00. I mean is the BCD3k really that bad ?

Not really, I see that some of the users are working on a mapper and it is going quite well. If you have option to return or sell it to somebody than you should take it and try it. If it is not for you, you can get something else ;)
You will need VDJ Pro to get full options ;)

But hang on a tick, the hardware page says the BCD200 "works well with Virtual DJ" yet in the forums everyone say it is a piece of cr4p?? I've tested mine over a few versions of VDJ and see it never seems to work and get hell if I dare ask why. Always blamed on faulty Behringer xxxxxxx (insert hardware/drivers/soundcard/firmware) but on Tanzi's advice tried Trakt0r and have had great success using the same drivers/hardware/soundcard/firware only the software has changed. They say it is cause Trakt0r work with Behringer BUT the MIDI MAPPER was written by someone outside Trakt0r and is given away FREE!!!!!

Whoa guys, just pointing out the facts, no need to jump on me, is that Tanzi I hear coming to my rescue?

Just for your Information: I have no problem with the work of the BCD 2000 or 3000 together with VDJ (without mic). At the time the pitch bend funktion (BCD 3000) is not working (only scratching) and searching is possible. But i hope, that when the mapper is fully included, it will work fine.

For me, this bundle (BCD3000 and VDJ) is the most suitable solution for small clubs, marriages and Karaoke-Shows.

With regards

Mitch

i have both hercules and bcd300 to me the BCD000 is batter then hercules,it's more pro looking the buttons feels better

Why would someone need VDJ Pro to use it with Total control and i/o???? i have an older version and I like it, I don't want a new one. It won't worK? It has capabilities to work with controllers, I have done it before.
