I would like to mix to rap songs, for example, D12 Balls and maybe a TI song, Or even something from Jim jones, the beat beats, BUT
I dont get how to, I know I have to arrange the BPM and such, but I cant seem to get the background beats and the Vocals seperate, any help guys? Or adive?

Thanks :)

you need to buy singles with include accapellas and instrumentals. This way you can make your mashups sound better.

Play araound with the equaliser and cut the Bass, Treble or Mid on one track and leave it playing. You will have to experiment to get the best out of it. Also make sure you match the BIG BEAT in VDJ

i.e.

Deck 1:

Bass = Full
Mid = Off
Treble = Off

Deck 1:

Bass = Off
Mid = On
Treble = On

You'll get a terrible flanging (is that the right word?) effect with a heavy bass if you try and crossfade and mix the two tracks
