First of all you need to upgrade your version to pro version of virtual dj , home edition dont support tcv's.There is a special offer for home edition users here:

Then you will need to buy 2 time coded vinyls from vdj look here:
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/
and you need an external soundcard with 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs and support asio drivers. One good solution is maya check here:

If you would like a step by step wiring set up please let me know....I was very frustrated at the beginning, but now I know just enough to be dangerous.

I love using the Time Coded Vinyl with my 1200's and VDJ......LOTS OF FUN!!!

HEY EVERYONE,
I AM NEW TO VIRTUAL DJ. I HAVE VIRTUAL D.J. 4.1 AND I WANTED TO KNOW IF I COULD USE THE TIMECODED C.D.'S AND VINYLS? I HAVE A TASCAM USB SOUND CARD AND WILL BE PRIMARILY USING THAT ALONG WITH MY TECH 1200'S AND NUMARK MIXER. I AM TOTALLY LOST. ISNT 4.1 AND 4.2 LIKE THE SAME THING? IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ADVICE AT
