Topic: Sing Hallelujah!!! - Recommended Spirtual House/Club Music

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am trying to find some spiritual, uplifting, houe and club music.

Can somebody recommend a few tunes?

I have found new flavour in this kind of music, lol... for some reason I find it inspiring and quite moving.

I am looking for something like:

Michelle Weeks - The Light
Shawn Christopher feat. Ron Carroll - You Can Make It (Preacher-Pella) <- does anyone know where to buy this track? (I heard it first on VDJ Radio)
Copyright, Song Williamson - He Is
M - Spirit Calling (Original Mix)
Ian Carey, Illicit Funk - The Power (Sunday Morning Mix) - The Power (Sunday Morning Mix)
Jendrik De Ruvo - Can I Get a Witness

Cheers!

Beatport under vocal house. Also try traxsource, and defected.

Many thanks - A Man and His Music - almost said house there lol.
I found those sites and bookmarked them.

I found Defected In the House Miami 2007 on Napster, listening to that right now, right on! That's what I was looking for! Cheers

Glad I could help. There are more sources, but I'm mixing right now. Where do you live?

UK (have a good mix)

Well you've asked the right Guy here Joachim, read my Blog, there's plenty of Deep and Soulful House there! It's what I do ;).

One of my favourites:
Connie Harvey - Thank You, Lord

Yes, hehe, I can see that! I am reading your blog now. Might have to get in touch with you ;-).
Good stuff.

I love soulful music that provokes deep thinking, and I like to think that subjecting my sets to people causes them to reflect and get positive benfits through my music, my aim is to achieve this goal as well as providing music that people will genuinely love.

Nice! I did not know music can provoke such deep thinking. I thought only books can do that ;-) Well some songs can... but a lof of this kind of music, I am looking into, seems to do.

Maybe... I have just grown tired of superficial music... although they are still good to get the hands up in the air at a gig. :P

Yes :), I wrote that as an ultimate ideal, I actually work as a commercial DJ (R'n'B, Party, Disco, Club etc).

But I'm starting a band soon, aimed at fulfiling myself musically (lots of Soul, Jazz, Latin, Salsa etc), got a Bass Guitar player and seeking someone to play Brass, it's gonna be great, less money but more fulfiling :).

Well the best of success with that. :-)

I am having fun discovering new music based the above suggestion by A Man and His Music and soon your blog (when I get a chance to read it more)

Thanks again!

One of my favorites is Most Precious Love - Blaze w Barbara Tucker.

:)

DR ALBAN - SING HALLELUJAH

(swedish eurodance artist that sings on english)

antileon : sorry my friend . Dr Alban is not a swedish artist - he is from Africa -

Notice my topic title ;-)

Found this one today, very nice... good meaning in the song and a lot to think about! :-)
Be Thankful - Jamie Lewis pres. Michelle Weeks - I like music that makes you think!

Gives so much more variety instead of get down down down! ;-)

This if off-topic but does anyone know where I can get a remix, club version of: Ana Johnsson - We Are?
I like the lyrics and the location mix (Ana Johnsson - We Are [Location Mix]) of this song is very nice is nice and much more subtle if you don't like rock.

This is the song (if you can't remember it) > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY9rcKih3G0
