Firefox without a doubt. Opera is a close second. The only with Opera is that there quite a few sites I've encounter that won't work with it at all.

Internet Explrer is much more powerful than Firefox. Firefox seems to be faster, because it's a simpler browser.

You are joking right? I have one word for you. "Extensions". IE has nothing like that. Not to mention, IE has more security holes than a pack of swiss cheese. I have yet to have a website Hijack my Firefox browers. Simple Firefox is not. Not completely bloated and functional is what it is.

That what exactly what I thought when I used IE thinking norton anti or service pack 2 will not be hacked easily but I was schooled and learn A lesson IE is very easy to hack because its what most venerable users use especially when u are new to the internet,so that makes it a target for hackers. So i am spreading the word to try firefox2.0 its free !

Wow. I'm speechless.

I've been telling people since early 2004 to dump IE in the "Recycle Bin" (LOL!) because the only thing that can make it look good as a browser is how bad windows is as an OS in comparison, and that's pretty bad.

Stop Using Microsoft Internet Explorer says US Dept. of Homeland Security
http://www.astreet.com/article.php?sid=292

Ever since the US Department of Homeland Security issued that public notice people have been jumping off the security hole filled sinking IE ship in droves which is why Firefox's marketshare is up to 20% now.

However, Apple and us Mac users didn't need the government to tell us that IE was bloated, unstable, insecure, junk, so we dumped IE off of Mac OS 2 years earlier in 2002 for KHTML based Safari. http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/safari/

Safari's about to jump up big time in use and popularity since it's the web browser that will be used in the iPhone http://www.apple.com/iphone/internet/

Safari's better than Firefox IMO, but of course Safari's not an option if you're on windows.

But yes, Firefox rocks on windows and Internet ExploDer needs to so just that, explode once and for all and go away forever.

Has miroshaft taken any precautions to defend against Defender yet? ;)

Firefox is all I need on the windows side, and the ONLY time I use windows is when I'm using VDJ (just waiting for the Mac version).

Occasionally I'll go online real quick if I'm not using VDJ at the moment, but that's about it. windows is broken and I don't feel like getting cut by asking too much of it, like the ability to do 2 things at once without taking a dive.

I dumped IE in 2002 and never looked back. Firefox is all I've needed and it's cool.
