Topic: VDJ Problem while mixing mp3's

Hello, I'm using the demo version. This has happened quiet a few times now. While mixing mp3's the screen will freeze but the music will keep on playing till the song is finished. I try to drag another song to a deck, but the screen will get blurry to the point that you have to shot down VDJ and re start again. I think it has something to do with the mp3 coding.

here are the spec for my laptop:

1.6GHz AMD Turion™ 64 X2
1024MB 533MHz DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 256MB
80GB (5400RPM) Hard Drive (SATA)
AUREON 5.1 USB Sound Card
Running Vista Ultimate, it also happened while using XP Pro.

TRY TO CHANGE YOUR HARD DRIVE WITH ANY (7200 RPM) FOR FAST READING DATA FILES.
BEST HARD DRIVE (SEAGATE BARRACUDA JUST A SUGGESTION)

YOUR VIDEO CARD IS GOOD.....

DONT US VISTA ULTIMATE BECAUSE REQUIRES HIGHER REQUIREMENTS, MAKE YOUR PC SLOW DOWN....

Hi ,
i think it is your processor . I have two laptops both running VDJ one has an Intel Pentium M Processor and that freezees up all the time, the other an Intel Pentium 4 and that is absolutely fine, clearly a much faster processor the Pentium 4.

I'll see what I can do. This software it's so tight. It's worth doing some changes to my system. I also got my first gig coming up in a month and I wanna use VDJ.
