Hey guys first and foremost great job on hooking up with numark. That must of been a huge accomplishment for you! Anyways, do we have people from numark visit this forum?? Is there any group buys we can get from them or pre-order for total control. You have a big market in this forum, and I think it would be smart if you offered a special deal to people who would support the product right away, that way, we would be walking advertisement for both VDJ and Numark. Just food for thought

Numark is visiting the forums, and Numark representatives are VIP members here;)
So they read...

If you're reading... HI NUMARK! =)
Keep your eye on me and my turntablist partners / dj associates as we're gonna provide VERY high visibility for both you and Atomix starting here in Southern California and in MANY ways through LOTS of the channels and connections we have at our disposal!
dj-in-norway has already known this for awhile though. ;)
One of my first clubs that I'll switch from Serato Scratch Live (on Thursday nights at first) to VirtualDJ/Virual Vinyl starts this Thursday (March 1st, 2007) at V2O in Long Beach: http://www.v2olongbeach.com/
I'm demoing VDJ at 8pm for the GM, will do the rest of that night with it, and will switch to Virtual Vinyl once the Mac version comes out.
I've got another demo for the owners of a high profile club lined up in March as well for Friday nights: http://www.silkatpechanga.com/
Both those clubs are very high end with lots of screen real estate, whether it's a few huge screens like V2O, or a lot of smaller LCD screens and throughout the club with projectors as well like Club Silk.
Expect to hear from (and see) myself, VT ConQuest, VT Icy Ice, and VT Debonaire REAL soon. We've planned on presenting a proposal directly to you since Novemeber and will set up a face to face with the appropriate Numark representatives when Virtual Vinyl Mac is released.
We already have quite a few industry backers who are supporting what we and now several others are calling the art of Visual Turntablism, as well as our movement as Visual Turntablists, the 3rd evolution of the dj. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turntablism#Visual_Turntablism:_Third_evolution_of_the_art_form
We hope that we can work with/for you as well.

Hehe. =P
Let's just say that corporate sponsorship isn't anything new to us, or my crews long time turntablist partners and friends: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisibl_Skratch_Piklz
Guess who sponsored them... and then you'll know why we all use Vestax mixers. =)
Now that high profile, world renowned turntablist "Shortkut" is signed with Rane for Serato Scratch Live and "Revolution" is signed with M-Audio for Torq, Numark and Atomix should really start building up an arsenal of turntablists to represent Virtual Vinyl in the professional U.S. circuit that they are about to attempt to penetrate.
I already have an arsenal at my disposal, not just me. ;)

Hey,
I have been trying out the demo of VDJ here, and been waiting for my tax return to purchase it. I am seriously considering purchasing the Numark Total Control with VDJ LE when it comes out in April. If I purchase this package, do I get access to the samples/effects and so forth that are on this website, hence, can I register as a full member here by purchasing the Total Control with CUE LE (VDJ branded Numark) or does the relationship between Numark and VDJ not extend that far?

You would need to ugrade to VDJ Pro (or possibly the full version of Cue... I'm not sure about that) at, more than likely, a discounted price online to get access to all the extras.

When I purchase the Numark Total Control with Cue LE, can I atleast get rid of the ever hated "No License User", even if I don't get any additional rights to the website?? LOL... If that's the way I go, I'd atleast like to get acknowledged as a licensed user of a version of VDJ, when I make my purchase. Beyond that, if there is an upgrade option for a good discount, I would consider that as well, if it would get me access to the other goodies :)
I was thinking of doing video, which would have required the full version, but I think I've backed down from that for now, and just going to do audio, but still the upgrade, if for a good discount, might be worth it for all the rest of what is available here.
Thanks for the info all :)

i think there is a discount for LE users of CUE, just as there is for the 'home' edditions of Virtual DJ that shiped with the DJ Control MP3 and Hercules DJ Console MkI and II
