Topic: Video Format?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am using VDJ Pro and trying to figure out what video format is the best to use - it's been bogging down on some mixes. Is it best to use mpg 2, avi, or what for virtual dj?

I have an external hard drive hooked up to my laptop and have to really tweak it to get it to work right?

any suggestions greatly appreciate it.

I use vob and don't have any issues. How much ram do you have, and what kind of video card are you using.
