Thanks Steve. Sometimes we have to go back to the beginning. Don't knock luck, because it has been good to me. I don't have half the knowledge as most of you, but my machine runs day in and day out. If I have a problem, I come here. In return, I pass what I learn onto the next guy.

Are some of you SERIOUS? Let me start of by saying I RUN a BUSINESS and my BUSINESS is NOT trouble shooting my computer or anyone else's for that matter to run ANY program(s), ESPECIALLY when I have a CPU that far exceeds many of the specs I see others running with like some of YOU said NO ISSUES, hell call it the luck of the draw! Again this is a "PROFESSIONAL" program right?, ..... look that word up. Please don't get it twisted out there in cyberland "READ MY PREVIOUS POST", as I said before I've done ALL of the RECOMMENDED tweaks and peaks with my conclusion that this program is not as STABLE as others in the market place for audio purposes PERIOD! On another note I have NEVER EVER purchased a program and had to make so many changes in how the computer runs, turn this off, turn that on, so on and so fourth so don't come @ me with that. Some of you live for the "tweak" challange and stay on these and other boards 24/7 which is cool if that's what you do but to me that just tells me your NOT out there ACTIVELY gigging or working as a lot of us are with not only our names but some of us company names on the line EVERYNIGHT we're in the streets WORKING, so if I'm constantly having to troubleshoot and search the forums because as we all know the user manual is well USERLESS than that takes away from my time to work as well as RUN my business. So when some of you and this is NOT directed towards anyone in particular but if the shoe fits..... well you know the rest ever get from behind these forum screens and OUT OF THE BEDROOM then holla @ me but until then...... whatever!!!

He’s right about the manual. In fact, I wouldn’t call it a manual—it’s a quick start guide. The skimpy manual does not compliment such comprehensive software as VDJ.
OO

Hehe, Steve you need to get out of the bedroom. LOL If I was you DME-CEO, I would know what you are talking about before making such statemnents. I can't wait until Steve get a hold of this one.

Well, VirtualDJ is a professional software so it needs a professional computer. Most of the tweaks we give are just for home computers because there are not well configured sometimes (=> quality/price ratio).
Then there are other tweaks to improve/clean a professional computer.
Just an example: you can have the best pilot in the world but if your plane is very old or broken, this pilot cannot prevent from crashing the plane. Even the best aircraft corporations "clean" their planes sometimes

Country Boy, I should know what I'm talking about?! hmmm..... I was CLEAR as too what I was talking about, and ahhh shuckz wait til "Steve" see's this (WoW) you sound like your a big fan of Steve's. Check this out, why don't you send it to him in an email or something that way he'll get it faster! My points are VALID and yes I agree with the best pilot bad plane senario but any pilot will tell you (if the plane is NOT ready to be flow then why fly it). My computer is NOT the problem, it has never seen the joys of the internet or anything else for that matter it's a stand alone used solely for giging.

No, I am not a "Steve fan". What I do know is that he owns one of the largest DJ & Karaoke comapnies in the Atlanta area. This is with several systems running Virtual DJ. The statement that he should come out of the bedroom just makes me laugh.
BTW it is not hard to get VDJ to run properly with the easy tweaks.

Country Boy, that's good for Steve but IF you read what I wrote, my comments were "general" in nature and I don't know any of you personally so I don't know what it is you do and to be honest that doesn't matter to me because it's none of my business. However, what I wrote was "if some of you come out of the bedroom"(which was not directly targeted to anyone on the board) so obviously that statement doesn't apply to him so why mention it?!
